All In London Review

Everyone said my skin looks amazing, glowing and not a wrinkle in sight...

The iconic baby blue colouring of Bliss beckons you into the trendy store where there are plenty of smiling faces to put you at ease and show you around. The spa is set on a lower level beneath the store and nail stations. Once below it is time to change into the fluffiest of robes and utilise the sauna before my treatment helping me to relax, unwind and ease away the stresses of day to day life.

I was now ready for what was to be my first facial let alone treatment in over five years and I had no idea what to expect. The lady who was going to perform my facial led me to the lounge area where there was tea, coffee, fruit and even a selection of cheeses to graze upon before the treatment and there was also wine on offer if requested with a curious little sign warning you not to drink too much or you might fall off the massage bed!

Within the darkened treatment room there was a bed, always a daunting task to climb upon gracefully, which much to my surprise was heated just showing how long it’s been for me since being in a spa! I was briefly told what to expect from the facial which washed right over me so thankfully she kept me updated on what was coming next.

The only word to describe how this facial felt would be “WOW”. After a very deep, tingly, cleansing and exfoliating fruit acid wash during which they determine what kind of skin you have, a pre extraction peel is applied and a plastic wrap with hot towel is put over your face and left while you have a neck and shoulder massage which was literally Bliss. This was preparing my face for the next step, the actual extraction which was both slightly uncomfortable and felt good at the same time as I was literally having the gross stuff squeezed out of my pores!

Next it was time for the Triple Oxygen face mask which was probably the most fun part as my face felt like it was being given a billion tiny kisses. The mask goes on as a cream and starts to fizz and bubble whilst sinking deep into your skin which feels amazing, you can literally feel your skin thanking you as you simultaneously have a fantastic foot massage so your senses are left reeling.

Finally after another comforting hot towel wrap is the hydrating enzyme pack which is applied with a gentle massage after which you are wrapped again with yet another wonderful hot towel then the vitamnised oxygen spray is sprayed gently on your face almost like a sigh of sheer relaxation washing over you.

My skin felt extremely clean and not at all uncomfortable but if that is not enough for you just wait till the next day and the week following, everyone said my skin looks amazing, glowing and not a wrinkle in sight to my delight! I am now thinking of when I should book my next Triple Oxygen Facial…

I have been to Bliss in New York and London a few times before, mainly for massage treatments, but the massage I received yesterday from their male therapist who trained in China, was the best.

Using techniques I have never had before, my body felt relieved within minutes.
