This practice is absolutely terrible.Reception staff are extremely rude, unwelcoming&unhelpful.GP's usually dismissive. In an emergancy unable to get an appointment and again, total rudeness over the phone.Would never ever recommend anyone to come here.Customer service training needed +++++

I've been with this practice for a few years and just left. The reception staff are so beligerent that more often than not I come away in tears or frustration, anger or plain upset. There is no point complaining, I have twice and the response was pathetically inadequate. Don't do it to yourself.

The Clapham Family Practice what you can say about this? Couple doctors left back in the year 2000, but if for example they leave practice from the practice will be nothing left. Around March 2012 practice will moving into the new building (use to be Social Services there). Even this fact they moving don't help whole situation. In the past I tried request my prescription via website, I found whole process really confusing and frastrating, because website by itself let them down. Under the link repeat prescription if you click there said; You need go to the practice complete form and than it take two Woking days to process frastrating here when you go to the reception they tell you we accept repeat prescription via website, but there is completely different story.
All website have at the moment the information leaflet for the patients, which look really confusing it done as Adobe PDF, but not everyone have Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat. So, it's mean it's very difficult to access I look at their Facebook page it's really disappointing, people there ask for their medical reports because they moved out from the UK to Australia and their new GP asks for it and CFP tell them in the comment it's private. You cannot speak with anyone, email or contact in the case of emergency, because staff who waste taxpayers money make it impossible and REAL HE'LL FOR EVERYONE! Recently I moved to the new GP I am wonder what they done with my notes? It's make me think because my new GP told me it's was a problem and delay with getting my notes from them. Good thing I have my own private record, which I update every day. of my condition what temporary was really helpful. But it's really frastrating when people do not do their job properly.

I was a patient of the practice since October 2000 and deregestred, because I moved out of the area. I'm strongly agree with the people who wrote their review. I'm suffer from cerebral palsy and epilepsy and I found in the EMERGENCY SITUATION this practice incapable to help. Especially when I need help straight after the seizure(s) the help just not there. Even during the emergency receptionists make you wait for more, than three hours. During the emergency consultations the doctors trying not to be involve in help you desperate to get from them. If truly I was better off go to the A&E in STH, than Clapham Family Practice to avoid endless queue in there. By the way I think some managers in the reception are simply don't like people with disabilities. For example I had an appointment to see a Dr after I fractured ankle during the seizure due to my CP I can't walk and use one hand. I had mobile with at this moment I was in the plaster and was sitting in the reception suddenly I got a call from my consultant it was one time for more, than ten years when I picked up my phone and answered to get instructions about my AEDs. The manager in the abusive manner commanded me stop using mobile, because I'm not allowed, next to me was a woman who had a conversation with the friend about their shopping she was allowed. I think people from reception also do not like the people who look different from them. The most talented Drs left this place more, than five years ago and now they employ Drs who even can't explain the problem properly. They couldn't find me AED, which didn't contain lactose Lamotrigine I am ended up googling to find address of manufacture on my own and send email to them explaining the problem. In the end I got respond from the company who manufactures the drug they were more helpful, than CFP. I am feel it's was right decision to change practice. By the way when I use to be a patient I tried repeat prescription via Internet it's impossibl

This surgery is an absolute disgrace, a total waste of NHS funds and I am furious that my taxes go towards paying the wages of the useless people who work there.
The receptionists are unbelievably rude and make you feel as though you need to apologise for being there and wasting their time - that is if you're lucky enough to actually get an appointment. They make it so difficult to actually see a doctor -particularly if you're a working person who can't take a mid day appointment -and once you do, the doctors are so overworked that they're usually entirely unsympathetic and bad tempered. There are also at least two doctors who are almost certainly alcoholics and who shake and stink of booze while examining you and the waiting rooms are filthy and poorly ventilated so the long waits are spent inhaling other people's germs.
After putting up with this revolting experience for far too long, I will never be setting foot in the building ever again. DON'T DO IT!

I agree with the other postings, the place is a disgrace. It is seems filthy and is very poorly maintained, which is unacceptable for a medical practice. The staff are unwelcoming, rude and make it very difficult to get an appointment. I have little faith in the gps that work there as well...I took my toddler there and the doctor couldn't even work the thermometer! He then completely misdiagnosed a common condition and put him on antibiotics it turned out he didn't need. I am, needless to say, changing practices.
I signed up especially to write this review to warn other potential patients.

So frustrated with this surgery that I have actually gone to the trouble of googling somewhere where I can post a review. The GPs at this surgery are ok but it doesn't matter because you will never see a GP. To see a GP you have to get past the reception staff and they are will make booking an appointment as difficult as humanly possible. They will not answer the phone. They just let it ring - forever. On rare occasions when they do pick up it's usually just to immediately hang up and get you off the line. If you have a day job it is impossible to use this practice. Absolutely impossible.

As mentioned by others it is completely impossible to get though to this clinic on the phone. I have been trying to book an appointment now for three days and the phone, after selecting the 'make an appointment' just rings off. Most of the time I give up making appointments at this surgery and just head to the walk in clinic in tooting.

Impossible to get through to the surgery on the phone - you need to visit in person. The reception staff often seem very disgruntled and I always feel like I am inconvenience to them.

Having tried to ring the test results line for 5 days, I will give up and go in person. I would avoid using this surgery.

I made an appointment four weeks in advance to see a specific GP at a time that wasn't in the middle of the day. I turned up for my appointment to find I had been booked with the nurse. While I was there for contraception I also wanted to speak to a GP about other issues, however, got a Nurse who obviously couldn't prescribe anything. The Nurse at the surgery is so rude and made me feel guilty for wanting to change my pill, saying "your changing it again" even though I had been on it for 15 months. The last time I saw her she prescribed me the wrong pill. I have very rarly had good service there and feel completely fed up with NHS and plan to go to a private GP practice instead.

The doctors at this surgery are let down enormously by their recepetion staff. Booking appointments are a nightmare - the evening appopintments get booked up incredibly quickly. Additionally, I once booked an appointment (leaving work early), turned up and found that no record of my appointment had been made.

I also needed to obtain urgent test results, only to find out that the test result phoneline was "out of action" until the following week. On phoning the reception to see what I could do, they were very unhlepful and told me to wait until the service was up and running again.

I appreciate the demands on nhs surgeries but there is no need for rude and unhelpful receptionists.
