24Hr Minicabs

Well I have read the other reviews of this minicab business and I was quite surprised at how negative they are. The reviews do date from years ago - so maybe these fellows have pulled up their socks since then, because last night they were amazing for me. They were helpful and polite, offered me a very modest fare (confirmed at the beginning) and in two minutes we were on our way. The driver stopped to let me get some cash out of an ATM at my request, which took about one minute, and then drove me home very safely. They even kept the gloves I left in the back seat and will collect tomorrow.

Completely agree with the comment above, company is an absolute disgrace, I walked in to the cab office last night to be met with rudeness, I asked if they accepted card payments before embarking on the journey to not waste anyone's time and was told I could stop at a cash machine which the operator, driver agreed.

We drove to my destination and because he failed to stop at a cash machine, then accused me of keeping quiet, yet he was the one who was supposed to drop me off at a cash machine as agreed, he then said I'm going to charge me extra for wasting his time... steer clear of this fi

I booked this company as Addison Lee who I normally use were fully booked but I thought as they were fairly local they would still provide a good service. However the drivers all rung me from a different location from the one they were told and had no idea how to get to were I was (one even had to hand over the phone to a passer by for directions). Consequently they arrived late which was especially irritating as it was for dinner reservations. The last cab to arrive was over an hour late, leaving us waiting in the snow. As it was snowy they said they would charge fare and a half which seemed fair until they were this late at which point we refused to pay the full amount that they were asking for. When the cabs arrived at the destination, which they weren't sure of despite being given a post code, they denied the agreed price and tried to charge extra despite all of the hassle. The drivers were very rude as was the operator at the offices. I understand the adverse conditions may have made things slightly difficult but this does not account for their service being below par in every aspect. Black cabs would have been better in every way as would any other company so I cannot recommend this service at all.
