Five Star Nails

I will not be giving Five Star Nails 5 stars. Their service is absolutely disgraceful. Talking in their language about you and your nails and whatever else which is rude. Also if a nail has lifted after a week and you go back, it’s like they are doing you a favour - main lady in the middle said next time you pay and be careful with your nails - When I tried to discuss and ask why she meant she shouted louder and walked off in the back so she did not have to deal with my response. This is not acceptable as lifting nails after a week means it has not been applied correctly. They have no customer service skills, are extremely rude and obviously do a poor job with nails. I will not be going back and giving them 1 p of my money due to the poor service, performance and attitude.

The boss lady in the middle is rude and really should not be in business if she treats people and customers like this - The service overall is a disgrace.

If people want to spend their money here, feel free to do so, however how they treat customers especially people from a different culture is very bad. Don’t waste your time or money.

I have gone here for a pedicure over the years. One time a young girl ‘burnt’ my big toe with an Emory square. Recently a boy sliced my big toe twice. Lots blood. Still sore two weeks later. Boss lady took over. No apologies. Given I’m elderly these traumas take longer to heal. Avoid this place.

Went to this nail salon in August for the bank holiday weekend. Worst experience possible just take your money and no customer care. I would not recommend this salon to my worst enemy. Very disappointed as this salon was a recommendation.

Awful place, awful service and awful nails. The woman who I suppose is the owner is rude and horrible to people and she just wants the job done quick and don't care about making the nails look nice. Don't waste your money in this place - go somewhere else!

Unfortunately,I have witnessed unkind behaviour twice now to elderly customers,with loud comments in the owners home language, with obvious laughing.
Additionally,basic politeness is sometimes forgotten, which cannot be blamed on cultural differences-a please and thank you go a long way to your customer.
I have given them a 3, as I have been using them for a long time,and if you just require a quick manicure for a night out - its ok - but I agree with the other review that shellac is very poor here, and the customer service by a certain individual is getting worse-sorry!

Do not use had shellac nails done started chipping in two days. I have had shellac for over 6 months. First time this has happened, also the first time I had gone to this shop. Went back and showed them what happened. Yes they did they fixed them but they chipped again within two days. They are nice and welcoming but simply do not know how to do shellac. If you want to throw money away then go to them. I am staying clear of this shop.

Very friendly, I have my acrylics done here & they are very professional and good. Not the most luxurious but clean and tidy. Great service & price!

really friendly, great pedicures, and comparitivly good value at £30 for a pedi / manicure. not the most luxurious of surroundings, but clean and functional.
