Friendly store manager but tourist products are faulty. I bought 9 fridge magnets which don't even stick to my whiteboard, never mind the fridge - I think the display board in the shop must be made of a magnet itself. I've got nowhere to put them now so might as well chuck them.
My mother bought two beautiful Big Ben clocks and when she got home she discovered the clocks wouldn't work. Although the store manager is going to send her replacements I feel sorry for those tourists who only find out about their faulty products when they return home overseas.
It's a shame that London allows it's reputation to be ruined by these newsagents which obviously get their cheap junk products from Asia.
Cranbourn News sells newspapers, magazines, light snacks, cigarettes and soft drinks. They also sell a selection of London souvenirs and postcards.
