Excellent service, best eye examination I have ever had. Made me feel so comfortable. Highly recommend !

My glasses broke whilst I was at work, and considering I'm as blind as a bat without them I went back to the optical express on the strand where I'd bought them 6 months earlier, only to be told that I'd broken them myself (which might I add I think is somewhat dubious as their either on my face or in their case. I think it was more to do with poor quality), and that it would cost me £300 for a replacement and might take up to a week. After making my displeasure known I left taking my business with me PERMANENTLY!!!. About 5 mins away I found a Specsavers, who managed to make me 2 new glasses with thin lenses in 1 hr for less then £200. The girl that served was very friendly and accommodating and in complete contrast to the assistant at optical express, who didn't seem to care less. The shop itself was very well presented with a good range of frames and the staff where all very professional and friendly. I've already recommended the Specsavers to all my colleagues and notified my company to let them know of the service I received and recommended we change our company eyecare provider to Specsavers.
