After decades of experiencing less than perfect work by Dollond And Aitchison I discovered this optician in Lower Marsh near Waterloo - actually their predecessor in 2005. I can only say they were, and the new company is, absolutely excellent. I agree with the first reviewer.

I recently went to S Squared Opticians in Waterloo after they re-opened following a recommendation from a friend and I am pleased to say that it was worth waiting for their refurbishment to finish.
The Optician/owner is charming and very knowledgable and sets your mind at ease, and both she and her staff were very helpful with styling me for my new glasses within my budget. The best thing - I did not feel under any pressure to buy the glasses. I shall be returning and recommend them for their excellent service and wonderful range of glasses. Oh yes, and they do proper eye tests whwere you do not feel that you are on a production line.
