John Lewis Opticians

I have used this opticians for first time and was impressed with the service. i didn't know what kind of glasses i could have as never used before and the gentleman who assisted me took me through all options and recommended me the best for me.
I am very happy with my glasses and arrived even before the time I was expecting them.

The store manager has a huge chip on his shoulder and needs to learn about customer service. It is not acceptable for a customer to pay £300 in advance for contact lenses and then to receive no indication of when they will be received. They can't even be bothered to provide a receipt. Suggest you stop employing inarticulate brats like the manager if you want to keep your customers.

They can improve by adopting a fair pricing policy and treating loyal customers better. I had bought a pair of Police sunglasses and Ray-bans here in the past. On holiday I scratched one of the lens on ray-bans and was charged £55 for ONE replacement ray ban lens by this same opticians I purchased it from. When it didn't arrive after 10 working days I had to keep calling to ask about the lens. Several calls and 21 days later I demanded a refund and went to another opticians along lakedale road in Plumstead who ordered BOTH lenses for £35. It came within 10 days. Make your own mind up!

I have visited John Lewis Opticians yesterday and was very impressed with professional advice and help from the owner of the company who has over 30 years experience within this business.
He answered all my questions in a helpful manner and I can say I experienced very efficient customer service at this particular opticians.

We have also used this opticion before ,however this last visit they assistants were
bored and unhelpful.It is much easier to select glasses with a bit of suggestion and advice as we have been given previously.Maybe that why they were so bored as they weren't busy.However if you dont show interest neither will customers there are too many competitors out there to be complacent and we may go elsewhere next time.Very disappointed indeed.
