I took 3 items that I sold on Ebay here as they were suggested to me by Evri website as an official parcel shop. Two high priced electronics and one second hand shoe.
- I purchased packaging and printed the labels instore. Packaged the items and stock the labels on them myself there.
- Few days later what arrived was a small package of water filters with the same label that I had stock to a brand new laptop! And the Xbox that I had dropped off was showing as never being dropped off by me. Both expensive items stolen.
- Speaking to Ebay and Evri they told me that “This is what we call a tampering claim (someone tampering with the label and drop off)”
1) The fact that the label that I printed and stock myself in store was removed and attached to another random package shows that this was a deliberate action and not a mistake by the shipping company
2) The fact that both the expensive items were stolen and not the cheaper second hand shoe, suggests that this happened in the parcel shop as after that stage no one would have known what is in each parcel as I bought packaging in store
*Update on the situation:
I spoke to the owner of the store [ ], yesterday to inform him on what some of his employees have done. Unfortunately he was unsympathetic and instead of trying to find the bad apple to avoid this happening for more customers, he aggressively shouted that I should contact police.
It is incredibly worrying that the manager did not want to find out who did this to stop further customers becoming victims.
