I would like to draw everyone's attention to the Evening Standard article of Friday 20th May 2011 which alarmingly reports, I quote: " ..Pet shop where animals were left to die...Rabbits, parrots, chinchillas and snakes were found in a dark and dank basement full of flies. Police forced their way into Pets' Corner in Kentish Town...The shop had been closed for a week. Welfare officers were horrified when they discovered the animals were unkempt and with no ventilation, food or water. ..found a dead rabbit and turtle and a deaf hamster with eyes so swallen that it could not see. Etc".
Any one who loves animals should stop shopping from such a place and stage a massive complaint to make sure that this business is promptly shut down and its owners prosecuted for cruelty to animals.
