Pets At Home

The staff are so helpful at the Romford store. . Today, we didn't have a pound coin for the trolley, so the lovely security guard was going to use a token to get us one, before finding one loose for us. Once we'd finished shopping, he helped us to the car and even helped us load the car. What a nice man!

I came in about 6pm yesterday 29/04, overall I thought all the animals on display looked quite healthy. The store itself was a bit unkempt, mouldy treats, shelves in a mess and a careless attitude from staff. I've worked in retail before so I try to be nice but I must have been wearing a red shirt that day as the man on the till was extremely rude, said pets at home never stock certain items when I asked if they had them in, which they do online/in other shops. I suppose it must of been a hard day for them but I'd avoid this shop if you can.

So many animals dead when I took one visit this morning, 18 march 2012. One Dead hamster, been there for a while, and the fish well you wouldn't believe me unless you see it, but there was 5 tanks all with dead fish floating, all with a least 3 dead in each, they were big fish as well, I asked the young boy working on that section and he said he don't know. Every one was looking at them, local pet shops are better i have had many animals from small pet shops and they have lived for years. Support your local shops rather than these over priced pets at homes.
