This is a really excellent shop with the kind of standards of courtesy and efficient service that you sadly see very little these days. I own a 1920 Singer machine which needed a service and tension adjustment. They did the repair in a short time, despite the fact that they are rushed off their feet servicing school and university machines during the holidays. The people I dealt with couldn't have been more friendly and helpful: Tony couldn't have cared more for the machine and spent time looking up its exact age and origin, and if my husband hadn't been able to would have carried it to the car - it's very heavy! The engineers had done an excellent job - it now purrs along, stitching beautifully despite its great age. We - and the machine - were treated fantastically and we couldn't have been more impressed. This shop deserves to prosper!

This is a fantastic shop with very knowledgeable staff. I was there on Saturday lokking to purchase a new machine. As soon as I entered the shop I was greeted warmly and asked what my budget was and what I would be using the machine for.

One of the very down to earth staff immediately demonstrated a model for me in my price range and pretty much showed me ALL the features on the machine, taking time to sew each stitch. I didn't feel rushed at all and all my questions were answered. I asked to look at another model and again, demonstrated all the features and pointed out the differences between the two models he had shown me.

When I asked which of the two models was better, I feel he gave an honest opinion and said apart from a few embroidery stitches there was not much between the to and if I wasn't going to use the extra stitches, the first model was a very good machine and it really was just up to me as to whether I wanted to use the extra stitches or not. Given that the first model was nearly £100 cheaper (it was a display model), I felt that he gave a very fair opinion not trying to sell me the more expensive model.
I was given a business card and assured that in the event of any issues I could just pick up the phone.

To top is off as I had a 30 minute train ride home with my machine, one of the engineers carried my machine to the station and up the two flights of stairs to the platform! It really felt like good old fashioned customer service which I haven't experienced in London in a long time!

I would highly recommend. They know what they are talking about and are interested in matching the needs of the customer. Excellent!
