Dune Shoes

convenient location, lovely layout, friendly and helpful staff...but then when my friend and i were shopping there today her purse got STOLEN! she was just trying on some boots and had left her purse on the sofa, next minute it was gone. a bunch of spanish people (3-4 guys and a girl, who pretended to be interested in some of the shoes) were hanging around in the shop doing nothing in particular and when we looked at them they looked back in a harsh way. it was at that moment that we realised these must be the gang who had committed the crime. but we had no evidence. staff at the shop said sorry, it had happened before, but they don't have any CCTV. so do watch out for thieves if you ever go shopping there. and DUNE, please make some investment to make your customers feel safer.

Yesterday I bought a pair of £75 peep toe wedges only to discover this AM that one peep toe whole is slightly larger than the other one and the stiching around the wedge is dissimilar. I tried to get them exchanged at lunch time but no luck as they have been worn which is understandable. While i appreciate they aren't Trickers of Jermyn Street, some sort of a compromise or concessions would have been great. Appaling quality at a high price. This is also not the first time I discovered a fault with a pair of their shoes. Not sure i'll go back and certainly won't recommend.
