I returned to buy a ballet bag, and last week some ballet hairclips. I took them out of the packet and two were broken. I went into the shop to show him. He told me they must have been trodden on. I asked if he was suggesting that I had done so, he said yes he was. I was absolutely astonished at his attitude. I felt intimidated and very upset. They could improve by valuing their customers.

I'm a local mum of two under fives, trying to buy a ballet outfit for my 3 year old. After expressing my desire for a non acrylic wrap cardigan, as I don't feel they wash well. The proprietor became rude and ignored me. He made a big point of saying that he felt everyone else needed to be served first in a way I felt was quite vindictive, despite me and my two under fives being in his shop for over 30 mins.
I feel so upset by his behaviour to me, that I will never shop there again, which is a shame as my little girl loves her ballet class and I prefer to buy locally. Viva la internet..

When their website failed to process the purchase I called the shop. To say they were unhelpful was an understatement! I'm not at all sure the chap I spoke to knew what was on his own website or what a website was. As well as telling me the site has had an online purchase facility for the last 15 years (!!) he created a new line in rudeness that means none of my team will be purcasing their things there again.
I'd strongly recommend the people running the shop take a look at their own site so they at least know what's on it.
And if you want to buy anything, I would hope the face to face service is better than I received over the telephone.

If this customer encountered a problem when trying to order online from us, then she could not have followed the instructions which are clearly indicated on each item and each page.
Sometimes however credit card payments are refused by WorldPay if there is a problem with the card and if this is the case then an order is refused and will not go through the system.
Regarding telephone conversations taking place in our London store, our staff do their best to be as helpful as possible. If staff were deliberately rude to customers we would not have maintained a very successful business for some thirty years.
