I rang the shop to buy some shoes and have them sent to me in Devon. The owner wanted to charge me £12 for postage. Outrageous and the shoes were considerably more expensive than if I bought them through the German store including the additional tax. Needless to say I did not purchase the shoes.

Phoned enquiring re Mephisto shoes when Ali, Store Manager dealt with call. He could not have been more helpful and informative re products concerned, even to the point of forwarding numerous photos re possible options!

Very overpriced. The actual Mephisto website, sells the shoes at a much lower price - sometimes up to £60 less. Very poor customer service. Owner is very rude. Last time I called in, there were two young shop assistants playing ball up and down the shop. They were throwing it to each other from one end right down to the other end. I walked in, they stopped but just stood there. Felt like I was interrupting their playtime. I left and bought three pairs of shoes online , so they did me a favour really. Use the shop to try on the shoes but then order online. Shipping is very quick.

Mephisto shoes are amazing and they are the only shoes I wear - however this shop is poor. The man who owns it is rude and gives the hard sell. He seems to have his wife going up and down the stairs getting the shoes and talks to her in a very rude manner. It made me not want to buy the shoes. I eventually bought them online for 100 pounds cheaper. The shop needs to employ people with good customer facing. It is on Bond street and the shoes are expensive. The customer service feels like the shoes are a tenner at the market.

I had a very poor experience here, with advice later turning out to be be very poor. I am now stuck with the most expensive pair of shoes I have ever bought, and that are painful to walk in, for more than an hour so no longer useable. A real pity that I listened to the gentleman who helped me at this store and the fact there are no returns at this store. I did try (in a diplomatic way) to discuss the issues I was having, with the shoes, but they refused to discuss anything after service with me.

I bought a pair of brown suede Oxfords and was pleasantly surprised by the level of service; the range of shoes on view and the comfort of these shoes. Mephisto certainly know how to make comfortable shoes.

I normally do not write on these forums but i have to say my experience at the Mephisto store on Bond street was amazing. I am very happy with my shoes and equally happy about the very warm and attentive service i recieved. Will definitely be back:-)!

Hello my name is Sandra, my pediatrician suggested me to wear Mephisto shoes, to help my feet recover from an injury I had about 3 months ago, that did not allow me to walk properly. I popped into the Mephisto store in New Bond street, and was so happy with the service I received and the comfortable shoes, that I bought 6 pairs.

popped in about a week ago with my husband, staff was very friendly, I was extremely happy both with the shoes i bought and with the excellent service. I strongly recommend this shop and Mephisto to anyone. I will definitely go back again, one of the best customer service experience I've had in the past 8 years. Well done and see you soon!

Just bought a couple of pairs of walking shoes for the winter from Mephisto's New bond street store. The service was excellent particularly from the new manager who i believe had only been there for a week. Will definitely visit again as i only wear Mephisto and find them to fit my feet very well..

I went to the Bond St shop some time ago, the staff were rude and unhelpful especially as I had difficult feet in small size and was recommended to go there. There is a much better shop near Piccadilly Circus. The Sanders staff were very helpful and we found the right shoes. Go there instead.
