Although Altimus is quite expensive, the selection is fantastic and the service is even better. The lovely Paolo spent almost 2 hours with my son and I, fitting boots and recommending other kit that he needed. Huge recommendations from us. In terms of service, the other sport shops on High Street Ken could learn a thing or two from Altimus.

After being promised by Harvey Nicks for a Canada Goose jacket which never materialised the frustrated assistant told me to try Altimus in Kensington. What a collection they have , walked in and purchsed my new red Kensington Parka straight away.

Absolutely amazed with how good this shop has been for me! My feet always encounter problem when I go away skiing with friends. Altimus completely helped with fixing the pain that was always there, and gave me the correct orthotics which have helped me tremendously, thank you!!

These guys need to improve their customer service and think about their pricing....I was given advice on things that was wrong and it turned out that the most expensive items were being pushed onto me.
Took some advice from from a ski instructor friend who agreed that their prices were sky high for what they were and that other ski shops nearby are more knowledgable.

Thanks Altimus for your help this ski season! I needed quick and inexpensive ski wear for me and my family.I was so satisfied with the level of customer service of the shop last year I decided to go back.I was not let down again and this time the customer service was better than anything else I have seen.My son's jacket was not in stock so instead of ordering in for me to arrive in the next few days, the manager had it bought from their warehouse in caversham just so i had a jacket for my skiing holiday.Thank you Altimus you have not let me down and I look forward to seeing you in the future.

Visited Altimus around 6 weeks ago after a good friend told me about the exceptional service when it came to shoe

Altimus Podiatry is a gem of a place as odd as it sounds I was recommend by my GP to visit, the pain in my feet was getting worse, and he suggested that I give them a try. Initially I had my reservations but after having the orthotics made and fitted and having used them for around 2 months I can say that my pain under my feet has gone !!. I cannot recommend this place enough in fact several other members of my walking club that have also visited Altimus say the same "Amazing" .
Well done and thank you for allowing me to walk pain free.

Have to agree with Peter I also went to Harrods to buy ski wear as usual but the range was dismall the Snow and Rock was also very poor anyhow I am so glad I came here the collection in Altimus was vast and they have very good sales persons to help.

10/10 service I went in last night when the shop was just closing its doors I desperately needed to get my racket restrung as i was playing later on in the evening I thought it would be a straight no however they where fantastic they re called the stringer back in and he re strung my racket in 8/9 minutes. More shops like Altimus needed on the high street. Will definitely be recommending this place to my friends.

Martina Martina Martina the most helpful shop assistant ever she is a saint ....the thought of buying clothes for my 3 children is a challenge but ski wear I was dreading it she managed to get them kitted out with no fuss at all. Altimus's collection of kids ski wear the best and there prices are so reasonable especially compared to snow and rock and others on the high street.Really like this place.

Came back from a skiing trip last September and had some feet problems. Was recommended here by a friend and am over the moon with the treatments received and the pain has gone.

They offer fantastic after service also so I'm always popping back in here and there for check ups. Great shop!!

For ski wear then this is the best place to go. I went to Harrods to look as they usually don't disappoint however this years collection was terrible, have to say though Altimus in Kensington had the best collections ended up buying a Bognor ski jacket with ski pants there choice of skiwear is extensive there staff are also very helpful staff a huge plus when buying this level of clothing.

Forget any other foot clinic this is the best i have ever come across met with there in store Pod he is amazing had a full bio mechanical fitting ended up with the most awesome walking boots and got a pair of custom orthotics fitted whilst i was there. Very very good service all round.
Would most certainly recommend Altimus to people needing boots.

Best customer service purchased a rucksack 3 months ago for my trip around India the bag survived the trip however on the way back one of the buckles broke off the bag tearing the strap away I thought they would palm me of with the normal rubbish however they just swapped the bag for a new one I am so impressed fantastic service will definitely be going back to this store.

After years of walking with pain under the balls of my feet I am so glad my GP recommended me to visit Altimus in Kensington I went in not expecting too much apart from the usal try this it will be soft and comfortable..... however I was seen by Donovan a South African foot specialist who knew so much about my feet iI was blown away I ended up purchasing some custom orthotics and have to say best purchase I have ever made. PAIN FREE ..... Thankyou Altimus....

I can only say positive things about my visit today the service was on different level I love running but suffer from very bad shin splints and foot pain after being seen by there foot specialist I purchased some fantastic running shoes for less than half price asics gel kayano 20 for £65.00 I didn't question the price. I also got some insoles to help with my foot pain for less than £80.00 cannot grumble.....

Good if you want outdoor gear that is expensive but reasonable quality. Bad if you want orthotics- I was given the hardsell by quite a knowledgeable guy, but their prices are insanely high- go to a doctor, even Harley Street is (much!) cheaper.

What a great store in and the heart of london well Kensington I was so impressed with the staff at Altimus they comlpetly kitted me out for my up coming trip to Argentina met Chris boy did he know his stuff espically regarding walking boots my feet have never had so much attention. Being very hard to please when it comes to running shoes I have to admit even I was very impressed with level of service I received from Altimus the other day. I must say there in store podiatrist was a god send he made me understand after several years of running why I was getting knee pain all made sense now. I ended up buying 2 pairs of Asics Kayano. Will definitely recommend Altimus to my running friends.

I am from Russia and was searching to buy some skis equipment whilst here in the UK I was informed by friends to look at shops in Kensington for this type of products. I visited Altimus on Saturday in Kensington and the experience I was given I have never seen here in the UK or in my country the sales assistant Mr Alex he was very helpful on getting me fitted for ski boots that they still had in stock also I purchased a pair of skis from them as well all the assistants are friendly and helpful they also organised a taxi for me to get things back to my residence.

I went to this shop to purchase some skiing equipment for myself and I was amazed by the quality and the customer service provided by the staff. I was very un organised and was buying stuff two days in advance and they could not have been more helpful telling me what to buy and any recomended products they had used on their own skiing holidays.

I love this shop and I can not wait until I go there again!

Bought a Groupon voucher online the other day for orthotic insoles that they had a deal on anyhow the chap I met really new his stuff went through all the options for me to make a choice that was best for me, been using my new orthotics last few days my feet and especially my knees feel so much better.
Glad to see that shops are still around with good old fashioned values and service.

My GP recommended me to this place after my constant foot complaints and shin splints to be fair I did not no what to expect however I was very impressed I met there in store podiatrist and after his in depth analysis I had some orthotics made what a difference my shin splint pain has almost subsided and my years of foot pain has vanished I am so thankful to the team at Altimus I would highly recommend this shop to any one with foot problems.

Best ski shop in Kensington was looking for something different and something that looked stylish went to all the other ski shops they were Boring and overpriced !!!
