Unbelievable shop attendants- I tried to buy an O2 calling card. The attendant was chatting away on his phone and didn't pause the conversation through the entire service. As a result sold me something I couldn't use despite me clarifying multiple times previously.
Then: refused to listen to my qualms, refused to admit his mistake, refused to give a refund.
My suggestion for improvement is to fire both staff who are clearly 1) not interested in doing honest business and 2) not interested in doing their job.

Completely disagree with other reviewer. I live next door to Russell Supermarket and pop in around five times a week. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. And when I was house-bound due to a broken foot they happily brought my shopping to my flat (and refused to take a tip) - lovely people, great service.

This has been our local corner shop for many of years, recently they changed management and as a result have lost their respect for local people especially the local children. They staff have cause distress to the local children by not treating them properly and dealing with them very harshly.
Wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
