Tanstation

A friend of mine passed on the Tanstation flyer as a place to try to get my Biosculpture nails done. I decided to try them out as the price was very reasonable and the location is great. I wasn't expecting anything fantastic, but I can truly say that I had a wonderful experience there. Kate, the nail technician is very knowledgeable about nails and nail care. She had lots of tips for me on how to make my Biosculpture nails last (and they lasted a good 4 weeks by the way!) and what I needed to buy to care for them (acetone free nail polish remover etc).
I have since been back to get another set of Bios done and I am very happy with my nails so far. They have grown a lot becuase Kate did a good job so the Bio gel barely chipped at the tips.

People have complimented my nails and I have recommended Tanstation to them also. I am a very happy customer and will be getting my Bio nails done for as long as I can afford them. Jade the receptionist is also very nice, chatty and professional without being stuffy. All in all a nice place to sit and get your nails done - they don't ignore you and try to make conversation while you are waiting for polish to dry etc. Top marks to Tanstation for excellent customer service.

In this climate we are all trying to cut back and save money - it's our beauty treats which are usually the first thing to take a cut... BUT Tanstation don't charge the over inflated prices that others salons around the area and the City in general + they always have great offers on!

I have been going there for a few months now, sunbeds, waxing, manicures, etc. and I recently tried Bio Sculpture Gel. I had this put on my nails in December and it was fab, it lasted me right through the party season until Feb, it's a must for the holiday season and I will definately be back for more!!!

The owner is really friendly, she always goes out of her way to fit you at a minutes notice and I've regularly seen her stay open late for people wanting treatments and sunbeds before they go out for the night.

I walked past this morning and noticed they have some really good deals on for Valentines so get in quick!!!!

Went in today to have my nails done last minute and I love them, it's my second time at tanstation and I would highly recommend it. All the staff are so friendly and my nails are fantastic. I'll definitely be back to use the sun beds very soon!!

I just visited tan station so disappointed the sunbeds are so bad lamps havnt been chanhed for ages so weak and price is quite high for one session service are so rude specialy the blond girl receprtion don't have experience at all the rest is always on the phone or smoking the worse beauty salon ever.....

Tried Tanstation for an underarm wax recently. I think they should concentrate on being a tanning shop only. The "beauty room" is little more than a cramped cupboard and not good enough for the treatments on offer. Under arm waxing is never pleasant but I have never before been left with red raw skin under my arms. Definitely not a good experience and I would not use them again.

Had a spray tan here on Friday 03/06. Have been getting spray tans for the past 10 years but decided I wanted to get one and because I work in the area having a name like Tanstation thought they knew what they were doing. Well I have never been so embarrassed in my life, the tan they use looks orange and my hands are a joke they are streaky and look ridiculous, I guess this is because their idea of barrier cream is 60p Moisturiser from boots. You can imagine how self conscious and awful I felt at the event I needed to go to on Saturday. It is now Monday and I have been trying all weekend to scrub this hideous tan off. It feels like it tanned my skin forever. I'm not sure what their other services are like but don't spend £30 on a spray tan there to look like an idiot.

Visited Tanstation it was fantastic had a fish pedicure excellent the staff were helpful and the treatment was exceptional booked my next visit whilst I was there looking forward for my appointment and I'm telling all my friends.
