I have been buying toys from here for children then great nephews and nieces for twenty years.The great thing is that as they grow up you introduce them to the art shop in the front.So a brilliant toy shop and a really helpful art store. Hidden gem this is!

I called this shop today and asked if they sell fabric pens. A lady confirmed they do, so we made the journey to Dulwich and found the shop.

When we got there, we were told they don't sell fabric pens. The elderly lady who works here then said I hadn't asked for fabric pens on the phone. I assured her I did, and she immediately snapped back "well we don't sell them."

No hint of an apology, no attempt at politeness whatsoever.

We were a bit taken aback, and left the shop without telling her how offended we were by her aggressive stance towards us, which she seemed to adopt as soon as we walked through the door.

She was rude, unpleasant, unhelpful - she really ruined our afternoon.

I would NOT recommend this shop. I hope she goes out of business.
