I have just had an appointment at La Shine Salon in Roman Road, Bow, London. I have long hair and my hair has been cut perfectly straight. I used to travel miles to get my hair cut (and happy to pay over twice as much to achieve the look I wanted). Now I am so pleased I have found La Shine which is local to me and costs me a lot less. Lawrence, the stylist at La Shine is an amazing hairdresser and I would recommend him 100%.

Great cut & highlights. I brought some pictures in and Lawrence spent ages making it look exactly as I wanted it :) Really nice, natural looking highlights too. It's a quirky, quiet salon, a much more relaxing experience than getting your hair cut in town. I am now a loyal customer, thank you Lawrence!

The hairdresser really knows how to blow dry. My hair has never looked so glossy and styled. The curls stayed in for a week despite the rainy damp weather. Attention to detail was his priority. I shall go back again and again

The salon was nicely decorated and the hairdresser was friendly but the service was poor. I took a picture of my self with my previous hair cut and he did something totally different. Besides, he cut far too much my hair. He tried to charge me £35 for the 'new style' i did not asked for. I paid £28 but I left feeling it had been a waste of money. This is not very nice considering I have an event to attend next week. I think part of the problem is he cannot understand english very well.

Lawrence is an amazing hairdresser. I spent years going to designer salons but now wouldn't let anyone else colour or touch my hair. I massively recommend him. His conditioning treatment is the best I've ever had as well!

I have been using this hair salon since it opened and would highly recommend it.
I wouldn't trust any other hairdresser to Japanese straighten, Brazilian blow dry or cut my hair.
I have very thick afro hair, and have tried many different salons both high end & locally but have yet to find any better.
It's nice to be able to relax whilst having my hair done & delve into the endless supply of magazines available, opposed to anxiously watching every snip!

Lawrence is a great hairdresser, far better than many ive had at nearly double the price, been coming here since I lived in Bow about 4years ago. very relaxing being in his salon, and always has latest magazines. only thing that is annoying is i now live in hackney so have to travel a bit more to get there!

Been trying to find a hairdressers to cut my 15 year old sons hair for ages. Laurence was great, did exactly what my son wanted (he has really big curly hair). I also had my hair coloured and cut. Cannot recommend Laurence enough. Love the quirky salon!

Laurence has been cutting my hair for nearly 10 years now and over this time his passion and attention to detail has not diminished.
There are very few true masters in this trade but Laurence is certainly one of them !

Really recommend this hair salon. Lovely laid back atmosphere, really quirky interior design. Lawrence cut my hair just how I wanted - (unlike other haidressers who do what they'd like!)
