The price is increasing with every appointment for the same service (just roots, no blow-dry or anything else). This hairdresser is a rip-off. Annoying. Wouldn't recommend.

I have been a client to this salon for about 5 years now and have been always extremely happy with every visit. From the moment I make the booking on the phone, walk in the salon, get shampooed etc...to the moment I leave the door.
I don't believe this negative comment this person has wrote at all, i believe its that person with the problem and not the salon.

I have been to other Toni and Guy salons before and have usually had a quite reasonable if not pleasant experience, but I felt compelled to warn anyone booking in with this salon of the robotic treatment and complete lack of good customer service that I received.
When I rang in, the receptionist on the phone was extremely rude - quite bruskly asking me if I'd been to a Toni and Guy salon in the last 6 months.
I said I had, and she said she would check in with them (in case I was lying, of course) and would let me know if there were any problems.
Having received a confirmation text I turned up at the salon the following day quite excited to go from blonde to brown (something that should be quite easy and most people do with an at-home dye).
The receptionist blanked me for ten minutes before seating me in a chair with a half-hearted offer of a drink (not even bothering to let me know what drinks were available) and, without a word, left me alone for a further fifteen minutes.
While I was sat there I noticed the distinct lack of conversation between stylist and customer - it was the most sterile and uncomfortable atmosphere I've ever experienced in a salon.
The stylist finally arrived, told me I'd need a skin test as I was having different colour and that would take 48 hours!! A risk that was not mentioned to me on the phone. She was also very patronising about the kind of treatment I asked for (blonde to brown) as if it was an impossible request and nobody ever changed hair colour before. She suggested I come back in a few days - I explained that I work full time and that I'd come in on my only day off (which had been totally wasted) and she just shrugged blankly and muttered a half-hearted apology.
I will never go to another Toni and Guy salon if this is representative of how they're going and will certainly never go to this particular one again - what was meant to be a confidence boost left me walking out close to tears.
