Hi,
I have no idea what seduce me buy Groupon offer for cut, blow dry, keratase treatment and highlights @ o'sullivan Blackfairs branch. £46instead of £162 - a great offer, I thought- well bad luck instead.
I had appointment with Harry- senior stylist. The cut is ok, keratase treatment means spray conditioner onto your hair but the worst was to come. Lighlights.
Besically he 'omitted' about a quater of my head -whole patches from the top of my head towards ears- both sides, I had about 13mm roots not covered at all( I'm natural brunette,so I looked like after about 2 months of re-grow). In some places I had patches and also i would see lines when I combed my hair down.
Besically an awfoul job done! I called them up the next day & ask to re-do it; came on friday- and I got so annoyed- the same thing. Now instead of about 13mm line where my hair are bleached is only about 5mm. Pastches done, lines remained.
Great improvement. WOW!
Never ever again. Wondering how a person can get a 'senior stylist' position with NO skills!
So disapointed. Once , at home when I was about 16 my classmate done my hair first time in her life, and the outcome was much better that 'in a professional' hairdressing salon. Please avoid this place!

I had my hair cut at O'Sullivan's in Blackfriars today and have never been so disappointed with an experience, ever!!
My stylist was rude, aloof and so rough she really hurt my head on numerous occasions. I decided to swap my thin side fringe for a full fringe and was quite nervous. The stylish barely spoke to me and told me there is no point in showing her the picture I had brought along as 'Everyone's hair is different' My fringe looks as though it has been chopped by a 3 year old. She has literally butchered my hair! I should have saved myself money and distress by doing it myself, seriously pull the hair down and chop- could not look any worse.... I pointed out that it was uneven and didn't sit right, the stylist told me not to worry my hair just needs to get used to it. Oh my God.
Please take my advice, pay extra and go elsewhere, in the case of this salon you truly get what you pay for...
I will now have to book an appointment at an alternative salon and attempt to correct the damage....as soon as I can brave going out in public!!
Please stay away.

I went to O'Sullivans at Blackfriars on Friday 11th Feb with the KGB deal of £22 for wash, kerastase treament, cut and blow-dry. What a bargain! Natalie the stylist gave me a lovely cut and the treatment left my hair feeling gorgeous and soft. I even got a 50% discount voucher for my next visit. I will definitely be going there again.

no way what so ever anyone would recommend this place. i went to get highlights and cut yesterday evening for xmas parties this week. after 20 minutes i requested a hot drink and magazine. this was in the blackfriars salon.
anyway... when my hair was done it was patchy. there were ginger bits in patches and blonde in other places. i never saw such a disaster before. i told the guy to re do it and got dirty looks from the staff from then on. a different guy took over. while he was re doing my hair i pointed some ginger bits to him that needed to be included in the foil highlights. he curtly told me 'i know what i am doing'. that shut me up!
in the end my hair turned out yellowish roots - you know that brassy yellow cheap colour you would only get with (i'm guessing) a home kit? well that's how it looks. it's awful. i was in that salon for 4 hours... i'm so fed up :(
i got offered a 50% discount on my next visit. i told them i wouldn't be back. at no stage did the manager speak to me or try to resolve the issue. i will be taking this further. the value of my experience was £172 - an absolute disgrace.
please, please, please stay away. i don't normally write reviews, but i swear this is a place to avoid.
