This place is amazing. Martin is just wonderful. The ultimate in stylists and customer service. I wish these guys all the very best under the new management and salon. Would reccommend to everyone what a brill experience from start to finish.

What a transformation . This place no longer looks like a brothel or Indian Takeaway. Excellent Service and top stylists. I was even given an i pad to play with while I was getting a colour. Total Genius... Love this place... Also not so hard on the pocket. Love it and thank you Jil.

I used to visit Joseph's down the road, until they closed down (I miss them!), and thought it would be difficult to track down a quality, independent but good value hairdressers. Luckily, I discovered Guru. It doesn't look too fancy from the outside, but the chairs are comfortable and you can get a complimentary alcoholic drink if you ask. My hairdresser is usually Jill; she's like an old friend - we catch up, and before you know it, my hair is cut to perfection. A pleasant surprise comes upon payment - it's actually more than reasonable for inner London. You don't feel stung like you would coming out of Toni & Guy, for example. And the cut might just be as good.

I love coming here to get my highlights and trim done. Gary is a great stylist and a wizzard with colour. My sister who has now moved to South Africa discovered him and never went anywhere else. She truly misses Guru and has trouble finding a hairdresser that is such good value and as consistent in delivering a good service as they are. I will leave the country soon too but will spread the word about them as much as I can. Comes very highly recommended!

I always come back here as the prices are really good and the staff are all really friendly and professional I haven't ever had a bad hairdo here and thoroughly recommend it - and they give you teas/coffes and a glass of wine for free! I havent tried their spa treatments but their colorist/stylists are always good value and they are up to date without being intimidating.
