I am a returning customer after moving house. I was so impressed with Robert's professionalism, efficiency and reliability. When I used them first time, it was from a neighbors recommendation and I was absolutely thrilled with my plantation shutters. When I moved, Robert also did an excellent job including fitting motorised blinds. Overall I have been very impressed with the service. Highly recommended.

We live in an Edwardian house with very large windows. Our main bedroom has three windows. We had some very old Venetian blinds which required curtains as well in cold weather to minimize heat loss. Have just had shutters installed. Great job, no mess. Beautiful shutters which keep out the cold and dampen the noise from the road, especially useful on bin day. Highly recommended.

We wanted plantation shutters for our 1930's front room bay window. We asked various neighbours nearby who they'd recommend and the best feedback was always for Starbuck Upholstery. It took a few goes to reach Robert - their email and answerphone system is probably losing them some customers - but please don't judge them on that. The quality of the work is outstanding. We have aluminium narrow framed windows with protruding handles and Robert measured so carefully that the fit simply couldn't be better. We are delighted with the finished product - a beautiful light grey hardwood plantation shutter that fits perfectly and looks stunning. Robert was reliable, punctual and efficient. He has given us a small bottle of paint for any scratches and reassured us that if we break or damage any part of the shutters, he will come and repair it for us. Robert clearly loves this work and does it expertly. Fantastic service all round - so if you don't get a response straight away, just try again - calling during the weekday seems the best option. With Starbuck you don't get a pushy sales call centre; instead you get amazing work from a small and reliable local business. We strongly recommend!

Brilliant quality shutters. The installer was professional throughout with great attention to detail. I was so grateful the installer who refitted missing screw to a window frame preventing it from dropping . The shutters installed

Looking to maximise the effect of the Victorian bay windows, Plantation Shutters presented an option with which we were unfamiliar. The internet provided a number of options; however we asked Starbucks to visit the house and advise on the options. Robert provided a comprehensive brief on the various solutions without pushy sales techniques. We selected Starbucks to provide shutters for the windows at the front of the house.We are delighted with the result and enjoy the various options of creating mood in the room. So much so that we placed a second order. Once again we are delighted.

Excellent service from start to finish. Great care taken with measurement for planatation shutters (our window frame is 2mm off standard fit - and it matters!), bringing samples of different shutter widths and colours to illustrate. Once product manufactured, great flexibility with fitting date - then did whole job in around 2 hours, again taking great care. No mess, place was immaculate when job finished. Shutters are fantastic - great improvement in temperature control, sound/noise from outside, everyone on road has commented on how good they look. Highly recommend Starbuck in SE4.

Brilliant service, lovely guys, who went above and beyond my expectations. The product is excellent and they did a fantastic job, left no mess (and even took some of mine away for me)! Having a father as a tradesman I appreciate the difference between good ones and great ones and these are certainly the latter so even if they are more expensive than other quotes (which I doubt) pay extra and get the Starbuck brothers in!!!

My sister recommended Starbucks Upholstery as they fitted her plantation shutters. They provided shutters for all three of our bay windows. They are very friendly family firm and I felt as ease with them in my home. They were able to offer me much advise and detail unlike the large, well known firm I first consulted. Their prices are competitive and their service is second to none.

Robert fitted shutters for our large bay window and we were so happy with them we asked him back to fit for our main bedroom too. Recently moved to SE4 and saw this shop , had a small chair covered guys done a great job ,then decided to go with them for shutters on my small Victorian house , again very good service from Robert , delivered and fitted in 7 weeks at about the same cost from internet companies .
only downside shop could be a bit smarter ! although great service and good to support a local business .

I live on Arabin Road and I've just used Starbucks Upholstery for shutters for my bay window - Robert was extremely helpful and the service was first class - I'm delighted with the result and with the standard of fitting and service. Highly recommended!

Had some shutters fit for the front of my house. S craft product very nice and below the retail price. There was no hard sell just one guy who does the lot. Good fit and no messing about, very happy!

These guys are the best! They've re-covered just about every chair in my house and their service and craftsmanship is faultless every time. I'm a bit reluctant to review them on here as it could mean an influx of loads of new customers, which might mean i'd have to wait a bit longer to get my chairs done, but they really are great at what they do and they deserve a good write up!
