Under no circumstance use this repair service. I needed a very basic repair of a Tag Heur watch whereby a bezel needed gluing. The job wasn't done properly and the piece subsequently fell off within days without my knowledge meaning the watch has now got to go back to Tag at significant cost and a replacement bezel.
I visited the shop to complain and was infuriated by the attitude of the person within the shop who basically told me it was my fault for trusting them to do it and I should have done it myself!
He also took great delight in telling me it would cost me lots of money to now repair/replace with Tag.
I got my refund (minimal amount). I only wish I could score zero hearts.
Disgusting and dreadful attitude and service - pathetic. Avoid.
I would not recommend this place for ring resizing. I asked to resize some rings for me but when I picked up them up they were still too big. The manager then refused to correct the size unless I paid again £120 for the job! Also the manager of the store was quite rude and unfriendly. I really would recommend going anywhere else in Hatton Garden - there’s plenty of shops that can do this for you properly.

Thank you for your comments. may I remind you that when you came in with your rings you tried on a ring measure and agreed the size L was correct. We then sized them and you collected them and tried each ring on before paying and was very happy and left. I have this on CCTV as proof.
Did you forget to mention you then came back again and decided you wanted them made smaller which is a completely new job. I offered as a good will gesture to do it at 50% off as it was your mistake but clearly you failed to realise that.
So don't go giving bad reviews when you are the one who made the mistake. As I explained to you when you were here that if you bought a pair of shoes after trying them on and leaving happy, after wearing them for a few days you would not be able to return the shoes for a different size without charge.
Finally we have hundreds of happy customers each year who understand what it is to receive good service and quality repairs , unlike yourself who clearly do not understand the difference between reasonable and unreasonable!
These guys really are a treasure trove of knowledge about watches - they are well hidden and deserve to be better known. They can save you a fortune if you have an expensive brand watch which is battery powered (Tissot, Breitling, Omega, etc). Don't expect a 'while you wait' service unless you fancy popping into a nearby pub for an hour or so. Much cheaper than going for an official service, much better than your local shoe repairer. I've had a lot of batteries fitted by these guys and they always do immaculate work. I hope they continue to stay in business as excellent service like this is rare!
It took a long time to discover, this is the secret source of watches with Masonic symbols on the dial.
The people are very knowledgable, honest, and their suggestions on what to buy have proven right-on and very profitable. The Team honestly wanted us to earn a good profit.
They also had other watches with "Hebrew" dials.
The appear very informed both about the complete watch market and where to go to find things in Hatton Garden.
A recommended place to buy very good value clocks and watches. Found carraige clocks at interesting prices. This shop (and Team) is a real treasure.
They most likely deserved a higher score, but only G-d is perfect.
WARNING; Be very careful where you park your car. There are very agressive City Parking ticket writting "attendants".
bought a watch strap and battery fitted for my watch. very happy as it was fitted by a trained watchmaker and they fitted a quality swiss made battery all within an hour, which was great as I dropped it in at lunch time and was ready when my lunch hour finished. Very reasonable, half the price selfridges wanted to charge me.
Had a battery fitted here and although they offer fitted while you wait, I brought in a quality watch that needed to have not only a quality swiss battery fitted, but it needed the seals replaced and waterproofing, so rather than rush the job I was advised by a trained watchmaker to call back an hour later so the work could be carried out properly.
On returning the watch battery had been changed, re sealed and cleaned all for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended if you have a quality watch that you want attending to rather than going to a cheap heel bar where they will damage your watch, or put a cheap far east battery in. Have been back since!
Went to have a watch battery fitted. Whilst the shop advertised as "fitted while you wait" I was asked to come back in an hour to collect the watch. I felt the price was very expensive at £15 considering batteries cost less than £1 and take a few seconds to fit.
