Greenwich Market has its origins in the mid 18th century, and is now the London Market to choose when gift-hunting, as you stand the best chance of picking up something that nobody else has got – from tat to treasures, it’s all here. The market features about 300 stalls, predominantly crafts, as well as clothes; second-hand, designer and new; fabrics, home furnishings, electrical equipment and a great selection of foods and snacks to suit all tastes. There is also an antiques and collectibles section, which is well-established.
The Arts & Crafts Market is open daily except Tuesday and Thursday. The Antiques and Collectibles Market is open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday only.

Agree with above, although I think it's more of a melange of Billingsgate, a soupcon of Smithfield and a twist of Portobello.

I only discovered this market recently - and it's great! It's not particularly big but there's loads there - from crafts, fashion, photography and plenty of food stalls. In terms of "feel" it's like a cross between Borough and Camden Markets - well worth a trip.
