Hiya

My name is Jeremy. I am from Philadelphia Pennsylvania USA. I am a hopeless romantic when it comes to London. I lived there from Fall 1996-Summer 1997 on a study abroad trip. I did medical research at Charing X hospital in Hammersmith and did my studies at both Birkbeck and UCL.

Never in my life have I loved a city so much. I think about London often even though I haven't lived there in more than 10 years. So many parts of London and the UK still with me in my personality and interests. For example I am an ardent Liverpool FC supporter, Cricket fan and Snooker fan. In addition I learned to ballroom dance there. These skill proved useful as they directly led to me meeting my wife here in the USA.

I have been back to visit 2X since 1997 (once in 1998 and once in 2000). I plan to take my wife there this summer for a holiday. I cannot wait to take her round my favourite city and introduce her to things like English breakfasts, Scotch eggs, Walkers crisps, Jaffa cakes and Lilt soda.

I will be there during the 1st test of the Ashes but tickets are too expensive. Oh well, my wife isnt too keen on Cricket anyway.

Anyway thanks for having me. I look forward to discussing London with the lot of you

Cheers then

Hiya mate,

I am always happy to help my fellow Yanks out with this wonderful city. Before I suggest anything I need to know a few details about your trip

Have you been to London before?

Is this for business or pleasure?

How long will you be in the capital?

What are your objectives (Tourism, sporting events, nightlife...etc)?

This will give me some ideas about how I can best help ya.

Cheers then...I look forward to hearing from you

Sincerely,

-Jez (Jeremy)
