Hi, I am planning an 18th birthday party for hopefully 30-40 people for the 23rd of may and I am looking for somewhere (preferably in the west end) which isn't too expensive, but will be fun!
If anyone has any ideas then please let me know

have you tried the venue finder thing on this site? Think its within the clubs and bars section and you can put all your criteria in like nrs, location, etc.. i used it for a works x-mas do that i organised.
re the comedy pub, i have heard mixed reviews although i haven't been myself so can't confirm either way.. have you thought of the comedy nights at the corner store in covent garden - they're supposed to be good.
