Re: your birthday. I love The Troubadour club in Earl's Court. Recently discovered it. Its so different to the usual bars / clubs with the same DJ stuff and unbearably packed environment.
Its been there since the 60s when the likes of Hendrix, Dylan played there. Now its a groovy club where you get no hassle and can sit down, or dance. Wonderful atmosphre. Food is yummy. And they have live music. Friday night is generally best.
On Friday June 23rd its a live music night with a great band I have seen before there.

Herbal is something of an institution down Shoreditch way. In fact,
it’s something of an institution for those in the know all over London
& to start with, it’s a good-looking spot – Placed in an old oak veneer
warehouse and boasting just the right exposed brick to reclaimed
timber ratio it reeks of what has now become the definable
Shoreditch styling – sparse décor, industrial leanings and, strangely,
a vaguely cosy feel. Warehouse chic in every way.
Overall, this is an excellent venue with an excellent music policy
and sound system, we fully recommend a visit to this hidden gem of a club.
