Top Tips... on anything!

I used a tip last night that I'd heard and it really worked and I thought: let's share some handy knowledge with each other... on any subject.

Here goes:


1) To get smells off your hands when cooking etc rub them over something metal such as around a metal sink or a metal saucepan.

I was making fishcakes last night with raw fish and garlic - both smelly and I'd heard this tip so gave it a go: wash your hands with soap/ detergent and hot water and as you do so wipe your hands around the inside of a metal sink and then finish washing them (the inside of a metal saucepan works too - they have to be metal though)... and viola! ... clean smelling hands!

1) when you get chewing gum on your clothes, put it in the freezer

2) When you get chewing gum in your hair, get it out with peanut butter (i got that from how clean is your house)

3) to get grease out of clothes put grease proof paper over it and iron over the top - i think thats what it was, my cousin told me.
