Hi all! Waving

I am just wondering if any of you guys and gals know any casting websites that you can sign up to and apply for the auditions for FREE. I know of mandy.com and talentcircle.org and I was wondering if all you lovely people could perhaps post some more that you've heard of or use.

Many thanks!

Thumbs Up Biggrin

Don't know about free ones but there was one which is certain amount a month and you can audition/go to castings, etc. And I did get some work through them. I'll have to double check the name. Thing is you can see the ads and things without paying, and when one coems up that takes your fancy, you can pay for a month and then cancel it again.

www.mystarpals.co.uk
www.universalextras.co.uk - it's free if you're a student. Costs £10 for the year if you're not...!
www.pcrnewsletter.com - costs £25 for 5 weeks. Has a lot of casting and fliming info, plus you get a free booklet with all the casting directors in.
www.castingcallpro.co.uk or .com
There's a few others like www.starnow.co.uk or .com but they do charge and it looks crap. It's all right to go with some that charge. Like PCR. I was recommended them by my lecturer at Uni and by Stewart Hamilton. Just research into them and make sure you only pay when you know what you're getting. There are some free ones out there, but they do a lot of student films.

Hey Aly. I have signed up for univesalextras.com but they're asking me for a NUS number which-I think!-I dont have...Should I put my NI number instead? Arghh! I am so confused!!!

Aly
NUS is your student number I think. You get given an NUS card when you are a student. If you're not a student just sign up to the Non-student section. It will cost you £10, but it's a small price to pay for the whole year.
