So here I am posting another topic asking:

"What is your favourite song? And what does it mean to you and/or make you feel?"

Let the listing commence!

I'll start! I LOVE David Bowie. Like seriously I love this man and I would have to say my favourite song EVER on this universe is 'As the world falls down' written and sung by Mr Bowie in the movie he starred in called 'Labyrinth'. I love him as Jerath the Goblin King *sigh* :cloud9:  Anyone else watched this much loved movie of mine?

I'm a big Bowie fan :)

I like that song, too. When I was little I used to get bored at that bit of the film, but as I got older I really like it. Not my fave song ever though! ;)

My fave song is 'What A Good Boy' by Barenaked Ladies. I first heard this song when I saw them live, a single blue light was on Steven Page as he sung it. Was an awesome atmosphere. Fell in love with the song, then and there. The words are pretty powerful, too and a lot of people could relate.

I agree. Its a great song and very emotional too. I am so glad someone has seen Labyrinth! Most of the people I know have never even heard of it! :speechless: I am like: "You have not lived till you have set your eyes on the Goblin King!" :smug:  I could write pages and pages about how much I love Jareth and the 'Labyrinth'-but I won't...at least not yet!

A bit dated by Goerge Benson in your eyes its our song and the first dance at our wedding. Where ever we go and there is music my hubby always asks for it to be played.. ahhhhhh. The words are special.

Ahhhhhh.

We had an Enrique song as our first dance, chosen by the wife of course! That sounds even more lame now I've written it down :emb:

As for songs that mean something I think there are a few for me:

Snow Patrol: Run - a hauntingly good song that means something to lots of people.

Will Smith: Gettin' Jiggy Wit It - reminds me of University, going out with mates and having no idea where we'd end up in life.

I also love the fact that they use the apostrophe and then use the word Wit in the song title, it's edgy, but not a grammatical disaster :smug:

Superb film, but I always felt I had to look away when there was a full length shot of Dave Bowie. My, those leggings were snug. :speechless:

I feel sorry for the short chap, that's right in the eye line.

How did we get from Songs that mean something to David Bowie's costume assisted exaggerated genitals?
