I just had fish and chips. Was a bit poo cause it was from the work
canteen and also was malt vinegar, not the proper chip shop stuff (also got a soft spot for onion vinegar which must be more expensive or something cause chip shops hide it).

What traditional British food do you guys love?

I have a thing for good ol' pie, mash and liquor. Has got to be a meat pie (no veg thanks), and again lashings of vinegar on top. Mmmmmm...

Great thread :)

My top 3:

Sunday Roast
Fish and Chips
Fry Up

Looking at that list I can understand why my weight has gone inversely down over the last few years. :(

so, I live far from the UK and I have a question:
"traditional british food" is it a myth or reality?) I have never heard about trad. british food (don't be offended, I know about spanish, japanese and so on). Tell me please about some traditional british dishes...it is very interesting for me...
and sorry for mistakes in my posts) :emb:

Of course it's real else we wouldn't be discussing it! Every country has it's traditional dishes.
