Who is who in the Web (some help needed)

Hello to everyone.

I'm trying to find some usefull web links to the popular GB (and other English language) websites. Could you just post here some links at: social networks, blogs, forums, web sites directories, etc. It'll be very interesting for me to know where English speaking web users spend their time.


P.S. Maybe someone's think that it is weird enough post, but I'm actually not from London and GB, I'm not from Europe at all

Google actually is not very good friend. There are many web sites which are may be very popular in GB or Europe, but it may be very difficult to find them in Google.

To be honest I'm confused as to what you're asking for... This website being a directory and a forum is not going to recommend other websites for those sane things.

Popular sites in general? Have no clue. It depends on peoples interests and things and what they or you are looking for.

Hmmm, I'd guess these are the top sites in those categories for people in the UK:

facebook
myspace
twitter
blogger

As for the other types of sites it really depends what kind of thing you're after. Is there anything specific you're looking for?

This is the clue: I'm from Russian speaking Web :) We are using absolutely another kind of web sites, than people from GB or USA.

I find this site in spite of my russian google. You can change windows langauge settings, but it is easy to find a site and look its domain: .uk for ex., nothing special. I don't know any another way..
