I don't usnderstand vegetarians :P

But so long as I don't have to become one, I don't mind Happy

Is anyone here a veggie? if you are, what are your reasons?

People have asked me how can I be an animal lover if I eat meat? Well for a start, I don't eat my pets or any animal I walk past. I do love animals, but I also eat a few of them. My pallette just is not one for vegetation. I just can't stand the taste of a lot of things that grow in the ground.

Last saturday there were four of us ordering two pizzas to share. Now people accept the vegetarian doesn't eat meat, so sure, one of the pizzas, or half of one is going to be a veggie one. I dont eat most vegetables - and that means I'm being fussy. Why does it work like that?

One thing I need to say to end this random post is that if you eat fish, you are not a vegetarian. Fishes are meatses.

Hello!

I´m vegetarian :-)
I´ve been a vegetarian for almost 10 years.
Fist of all, I eat fish; actually I love fish! Of course fish is meat but in my opinion it's different meat. Nowadays there're a lot of veggies who eat fish, it's quite common actually, because it's just not the same.

Second I find meat disgusting and that's the main reason why I stopped eating it. I feel sorry for the animals as well, but that's not my main point...

Probably you don't have to understand veggies but accept them :-)

See I don't get that logic!

That's like me saying I'm a vegetarian but I only eat lamb.

Fish are animals as much as birds and beasties, they live then they become meat then they gets eaten. It really is just the same as eating any other animal.

Vegetarian = no meat.

Fish = meat

look, there are different types of veggies! some don't eat any dairy products and there are ones who don' even eat vegetables which aren't dead; means which didn't fall from a tree for example.. I forgot the names of these typse but anyway... what I want to say is that eating fish is another type these days. ask other veggies, I'm pretty sure there are a lot who eat fish...

I know there are 'vegetarians' who eat fish.

I'm saying they should be called something else, because vegetarian is about no meat and eating fish contradicts that. So for those who only eat fish there should be a different label. Cause it's not vegetarianism ;)

BTW I see what you're explaining bout the different types.

My opinion though is that if any of those types involve meat (including fish), even if someone justs eats one of them, then it is not vegetarianism. I only eat about 5 or 6 different meats. But a vegetarian that clearly doesn't make ;)

oh, one lady told me here that animal-eater :) it is terrible)
I like meat very much)))
I can't understan vegitarians: how can they eat grass and fill satiety??Besides, I thought that vegitarians dislike all kins of meat, including fish...This way I can tell you that I am vegetarian too, but sometimes i eat fish, chickens and pigs)

Lol they eat a bit more than grass lol

But yeah that's my point. I'm a vegetarian but u eat fish, chicken, pork, beef, lamb and sometimes duck. Other than that I'm a veggie :D

though it's vegan I don't get the most. Not eating neat I understand, but no butter, milk, honey, eggs...? I don't see what's wrong with that? Maybe cause no one has explained it to me.

about grass I said with irony)))
As far as I understand, milk, eggs and so on are products which were done by animals (so clumsy phrase :D )bacause of that veggies can't eat them.
But for my mind..veggies mustn't eat bread (because bakers use milk and eggs) and some other products..May be I am too strong with my mindes.

Think there may be a language barrier ;)

Is fine for vegetarians to eat milk, eggs etc cause they are not made from animals, but produce of.

It's Vegans who don't eat meat OR animal produce like milk.

It's vegans that confuse me most. I tried a vegan cake once. It was hideous!!
