Hello,

I’m looking for suggestions for my best friends Hen Party in London early next year....

Last year we all went to a friends hen party and her bridesmaid had hired a fantastic set of dancers from a company in London called Salsa-Tropical. They came the our venue, performed and then taught our party how to recreate the Salsa / Merengue dances. With Strictly Come Dancing being the show of the moment this went down really well and I’m not finding myself trying to recreate the high’s of the last girls night out but the benchmark is pretty high!!

Does anyone have any ideas for a reasonably priced, not too extravagant party? Male strippers etc is not really our sort of scene.

Any idea appreciated!!

Thanks,

Jana

Hi,

It's a little late but for others reading this you should check out www.bettyblythe.co.uk
it's a beautiful, vintage tea shop in West London which does an amazing afternoon tea for much cheaper that any of the big hotels.

You get your own (very pretty) private space, a huge spread of sandwiches (with the crusts cut off, of course!), cakes, biscuits, mini quiches, tea etc. You can bring your own booze too which makes life easy. There's lots of vintage clothes to dress up in and activities such as cupcake decorating...

Hope that helps someone out there

What a great idea.. haven't heard of that one before despite lots of hunting around over the last few years for hen night ideas. Thanks Sharpie!

Also, if anyone is reading this thread and still looking for ideas, there was a huge long Hen Night Ideas thread a while back on this forum, so just search that one out too for a few more ideas.
