We put our tree up this weekend (pictures and "show us your tree" thread to follow!). Also had some friends around and drank mulled wine infront of the fire, very Christmassy.

What did you all get up to?

Drove up to Lincoln on Friday to stay with the other half's parents. So a nice comfy two nights on the living room floor.

We went to the bug christmas market they hold in lincolm each year, which was cool.

Unfortunately I have a cold and sore throat which wasn't fun. not so snotty today but when I talk I sound like a monster. Think I should get it checked out.

Am enjoying the build up to christmas though. I prefer the build up to the day. The day itself is always an anti-climax

I also went to the Christmas market in Lincoln on Saturday. All I bought was food! Over 3 hours of driving and all I came back with was a chocolate brownie.

Wasn't a bad day though. Seemed like a really nice are though. A great place to take photos.

Definitely, especially when it's dark and all the lights are on. Was very crowded though.

I bought this pretty beetle keeyring. Umm a helicopter made out of a beer can and salt and pepper shakers.

Didn't even buy food cause was stuffed from this AWESOME chinese buffet place we found.
