How easy/hard is it go get a pub job in London if you never worked in a pub before?
I`ve heard it`s easy.

I moved here from Sweden couple of months ago and now i need to find a part time job.
My bf says i should go to different pubs and ask if they need any staff.
Is it really that "easy"?
And he said they wont ask for a cv. He must be wrong right? I thought everyone wanted to see a cv no mather what kind of job it is.

How many of you got a job in a pub when you just went in and asked them (without a cv)?

It's fine to go around pubs and ask but chain pubs (like Youngs, Yates, Slug and Lettuce, Wetherspoons) will most likely want a CV. Though it's true they are not strict on experience. Unless they're dodgy they need proof you're allowed to work in the UK and things.
