I know I am, and so are many others. It's not about smoking, or health, it's about choice. I have a private network for people in London who would like to host or attend private house parties or just simply social gatherings at home where members and friends are free to smoke indoors.

If you would like to join, send me a private message and I'll give you my email address. Then email me and I'll invite you.

I am sick of the smoking ban.... but for other reasons.

I'm fed up of walking past groups of people in the street getting loads of smoke blown in my face. Its bad enough when you see single people walking down the road smoking. But now as you pass building you have 'gatherings' of people all smoking at once.

Its a digusting habit..... smoking outside blowing smoke into the lungs of other people esp those who don't smoke & kids.

Yes it is about choice, if you chose to smoke - smoke where others are not having to breath it in. It's your choice, not theirs. My body shouldn't be damaged because someone else has got addicted to cigarettes :P

I always think my solution to the smoking ban was the best one:

All pubs, bars, nightclubs, resturants, etc. are "Non-Smoking" by default, and have to apply for a licence to become "Smoking" premises". That means people can make a choice as to where they go - nonsmokers who do not mind being in smokey environments can choose to go to a smoking venue, and similarly, smokers who don't mind not smoking can go to nonsmoking pubs.

It just seems fairer to give people the choice, rather than enforcing the "right" of one person - be it a nonsmokers "right" to breathe clean air or a smokers "right" to smoke - upon the other group.

[btw, I'm a nonsmoker, but the vast majority of my friends smoke. The smoking ban annoys me because my friends sometimes have a habit of going out to smoke in a group, making it difficult to keep a conversation going]

Lol agree with the annoyance of being left inside while they allbugger off for a smoke lol

And yeah good plan. Though I don't think restaurants should have smokign at all. Pubs, yeah, but not restaurants. Food and smoke :(
