What's everyone doing for New Year's Eve then?

Looks like I'm gonna have to stay home and finish off my Malibu from Christmas. Friends are going to Project Orange in Clapham but money is tight for me.

Anyone planning on heading into town to see the fireworks?

tomorrow i will stay at home, i will cook something tasty... and after 00.00 i plan to go in bed)

it's rather cold to go for a walk, it's bad that I will "celebrate" without my boyfriend...more over I'm so sick and tired of studying (I feel myself like a horse in front of finish of a great distance)and from friends (may be we spent TOO MUCH time together?)therefore i have only one desire-to sleep! and I hope next year will be easier than this one.
And I wish you to have fun year too :)

I shall be doing what we do every year

Watch tv, drink a cup of coffee, ickle bit of chocolate, go to bed about 11.00pm.

I don't see the point in staying up til gone 12 just to see the new year in cos my kids will still get up at 6.30 & i'll be tired

I'll be staying in.

I think QMB is off celebrating somewhere exotic (Wales).

My brother was just in Wales for christmas with his in-laws.

He texted me earlier & said 'I'm back in England'
Made it sounds like he'd been out of the country  as in abroad.

Would like to watch a film but can't think of anything to watch :confused2:

Watched 2012 last night.... far too long imo.

Watched 'The Hangover' the other night, it was really good. Laughed so much that i hurt my stomach where my stitches are :-?

The Hangover is funnier than I expected it to be, and for a lot of other people, too I think :)

Looks like me and the other half are staying in. Really want to go out but definitely can't afford it. January is a month of supernoodles.

Hav eyou seen Up, Daisy? You might like that... though it's not on DVD yet. I don't think it is anyway.

Is there no where you could go for free?
I'm not a 'going out' kinda person so don't know if theres free stuff but could you not go & see the fireworks, they are free.
Wrap up though cos its cold.

Yeah i've seen up, i enjoyed it.

I'm a gentle soul & like kids films & romantic films, although i don't like kissing scences
:confused2: :emb:
Ive asked my brother what he recommends.... as he works in blockbusters... but he hasn't replied yet.

* Krunchie - I would just like to say that i hope that 2010 will be a great year for you & that your finances improve. It sucks when money is tight.

My eldest son went up to see the fireworks and got to town before 9pm and the police sent them to TowerBridge not a good view but they had a good time.
I went last year and watched the fireworks from one of the Bridges Lambeth I think very good time. But cold!!!

Aw thanks very much Daisy, you too. Hope this year is better than what sounds like a pretty sh*t 2009 for you (prize-winning aside ;) )
