PRESENTS THE UK PREMIERE OF INVICTUS

Sunday, January 31, 2010
At the Odeon West End, Leicester Square

Talent attending include:
MORGAN FREEMAN, MATT DAMON and director CLINT EASTWOOD

On Sunday January 31, Morgan Freeman, Matt Damon and director Clint Eastwood, will be in London’s Leicester Square to attend the UK premiere of the inspiring true story INVICTUS.

INVICTUS, directed by four time Oscar winner Clint Eastwood, tells the inspiring true story of Nelson Mandela, then South Africa’s newly elected president uniting the post-apartheid nation as they prepare to host the 1995 World Cup. The Springboks national Rugby team become both champions and a galvanizing force of hope, as Mandela - an extraordinary performance by Morgan Freeman, together with Springboks captain Francois Pienaar- played by Matt Damon, unite South Africans through the universal language of sport.

Warner Bros. Pictures presents, in association with Spyglass Entertainment, a Revelations Entertainment/Mace Neufeld production, a Malpaso production, INVICTUS, starring Oscar® winners Morgan Freeman (Million Dollar Baby, The Dark Knight) and Matt Damon (Good Will Hunting, the Bourne franchise). The film is produced by Eastwood, Lori McCreary, Robert Lorenz and Mace Neufeld. The screenplay is by Anthony Peckham, based upon the book Playing the Enemy, by John Carlin. Can't wait to go! I really like all three actors, and am keen to see them (I know about Freeman not being a good signer, but I don't mind as long as I've seen him). To the last poster, I too have not met Clint, but I have heard good things about how he treats fans, so that's potentially good. The same is especially true for Damon. Can't decide whether to get a Invictus, The Informant! or Team America picture for him to sign. XD

He didn't do Team America, but if you saw it, there was a Matt Damon character in it that only said the words "Matt Damon". It's hilarious. Bt I have heard that he really loves that and will sign any picture of his Team America counterpart sometimes with literally the words "Matt Damon", like how he says it in the film. XD But I think I've decided on The Informant! instead. I've also got a Gran Torino one for Mr. Eastwood (my autographs never go on eBay btw - I'm a true fan of the actors, not like most people who just want to sell it).
