Hi everyone,

I'm moving to London and considering Battersea as somewhere to live that's near to work, near to a park and generally a nice area, my only worry being there's no tube! Coming from out Watford way I currently live on the tube for my commute and I'm the kind of person that's going to want to be visiting people and places all around town and so just looking for views on what transport is like in this area, can you survive on buses alone?!

Thanks

The bus services are good, but your main transport link in Battersea will be overland trains. You can get into Victoria in 5 minutes from Battersea Park, or from Clapham junction you can get into Waterloo in about 10 minutes.

It's a great place to live and is often overlooked because of the lack of tube stations in the area.

I'd live in Battersea. Some of the houses are beautiful.
