Hi guys.

Finally got the all clear for a move down to London. Pretty sure I will be moving around the Holloway area I think, it looks quite nice.

Me and my girlfriend are looking for resaurants and bars that are nice, but perhaps have good offers on certain days (you know 2 for 1's, or early bird meals etc). Were used to being able to afford to go to nice places up North, but I guess down south we have to be a bit more sensible with the pennies.

Also I am working on Old street and wondered if anyone knows anything around there?

Cheers
Andrew

Heya and welcome to the madness we call London. I have moved down here not that long ago and starting to figure things out. I currently work near the seven dials area of covent garden. There are a lot of very nice places to eat. Esp. around neal's yard. Belgo centraal, a belgian restaurant, does fantastic lunches (mussels and fries) for 6 pounds...To go out I would recommend Oxygen Bar on Leicester Square. Though be careful, that area can be mighty expensive. London can be very cheap if you know how to move in it! lots of luck
