Can anyone suggest a fun day out on a Saturday or Sunday where the parents can "chillax" while the kids have fun. We are the sort of family that like to "party" so to speak with the kids. My child is almost 10 so farms, museums, parks are not really that inviting to us. Somewhere lively where the parent can have a pint/glass of wine or coffee and the kids kept amused with something other than a ball pit. Barbeques, live bands, or DJ - any type of music from reggae to latin american?
I have been to TGI Fridays many times but that is more geared towards special occasions, private parties or a full on meal. I just want an afternoon out and feel that i've hd a good time on our return home as well as darling my son :-)
