All friends is a concept that has been constructed over a number of years, incorporating select acquaintances and friends whom we hold in high esteem, thanks to their exquisite musical tastes and proven abilities to smash dancefloors. Setting sail with a musical banquet hosted by our first selection of special international guests and party selectors, we’ll be serving up a gourmet feast of the finest house and techno music for this launch event...
Not only that, we have a rather tasty appetizer in the garden area to help get the party started, in the shape of the opening England World Cup game complete with BBQ action and more on the gigantic screen…
By combining great music, great people and great guests, all housed inside the amazing venue, you know you are going to be getting down at an incredible night…
First up we welcome Valencia's Nacho Marko. Nacho’s name is recognised for the sheer quality of music he produces, music that regularly finds a home with Laurent Garnier, Faithless, John Digweed, Satoshi Tomiie and Francois K. His productions are housed on some of the most discerning house music imprints around alongside his own massively popular Loudeast Records. As well as all this, he manages to maintain a hectic DJ schedule, taking in clubs worldwide and delivering his take on the music we all know and love.
Joining Nacho to rock the main room will be DJ Fudge. Having started producing in the mid nineties, in the time between he has gone on to release a number of influential records on labels such as Soulfuric and Defected. Anyone who can stake claim to over forty 12-inch releases is surely getting it right. Dedicated to his trade, Fudge has also appeared at clubs in all four corners of the world, using each experience to his gain and enabling him to read crowds like no other.
The last of our trusted headliners is Jet Project. Their sound is very much en vogue right now, from deep and dubby tech house to thundering peak time techno, support for their material to date has come from Andrew Weatherall, Francois K, Laurent Garnier, John Digweed, Heidi & M.A.N.D.Y. With their latest material signed by Berlin's mighty Get Physical stable & Paul Woolford's Detroit inspired Intimacy label, and a host of killer remixes and singles set to drop in the coming months, it's safe to say the Jet Project are cleared for takeoff.
