Hello everyone, I'm looking for pubs that have live rock or pop music. I have searched the web and most pubs i discovered that have live music seem to be the blues(not a blues fan but it's ok) or jazz(arrrgh! never). Last year (i'm a once a year tourist)i went to the Blues bar in kingley street Soho which i liked, but i much prefer old school rock(free, deep purple, zep, hendrix). So does anyone know of such places in central London, say within zone 2?
Secondly what pubs are there in the Soho/Leicester sq. gardens area with a late license? I've been to London for seven years now and i'm amazed at the way the pubs in the capital city of the country shut at 11pm prompt and most people go home. I was in Barcelona last month and it really puts London to shame in this respect. At 1am it's still buzzing and there is no loutish drunken behaviour.
