We've changed the way pictures are used in the forum!

From now on trusted members of the forum can use the standard forum pictures tags pic to display pictures in posts

Whilst you can post whatever pictures you like from around the web please be aware of copyright issues with using images you don't own, you are responsibile for anything you post!

Having said that this now means that we can have much more intersting threads with pictures


If you want to display your own pictures I'd recommend you get an account from somewhere like flickr or photobucket.

Just noticed a slight bug guys, editing posts with pictures is a bit broken, we're fixing it now...

Also, we've fixed the issue that made smilies disappear when you tried to edit the first post of a thread. This is something that I believe Aly asked us to fix last year, there you go Aly, only took 8 months to sort out ;)

I do believe though, having thought about it, I think I said it was the [b] [i] and [u] tags that disappear when you edit any post that you have posted. I'm pretty sure the smilies stay there.

Ahh, in that case we haven't fixed that :laugh:

The pictures thing basically means that you can take a picture url

e.g. http://www.allinlondon.co.uk/images/news/10515.jpg

and put it between two [ pic ] [/ pic ] tags (without spaces) and it will display it, rather than having to upload the picture from your computer.


I'll look at the bold, italic tags problem now...
