Hello!

I saw a link on this website saying "Extras needed for next Harry Potter film" or something along the lines of. I clicked on it and it led me to a website that I have been to and registared on before - Springboard UK. It is supposedly a website that gives 'genuine' opportunites and auditions for the general public in films/TV programs/X Factor auditions and the like, but I want to know is this actually as genuine as they are making out to be? I have been to many of these types of websites and they have always left a contact address (this one I can't seem to get on to... Confused ) and the whole history of how they started. I have looked in the Contacts book 2006 (stage/TV/film/radio agencies etc) and cannot find it in there. When I registared orginally (no charge) they were charging me £5.50 I think it was, just to go to an audition. I have heard that if any agency charges you, then it's not a good one. But then again, I have also heard that if they charge you at a low cost and they are fairly well known, then they are ok. But I don't think anyone has heard of Springboard UK. Can someone please help me to decide whether this is a genuine website for getting unknown actors jobs or not.

Thank you Happy
xXx
