Wondered if anyone who had read 'Arthur and George' by Julian Barnes may also be interested in reading 'Outrage' by Roger Oldfield www.outrage-rogeroldfield.co.uk. This is a great book full of lively detail, which is the culmination of 25 years’ research into the family of George Edalji as well as the man himself. This is a must-read for anyone who has an interest in Arthur (Conan Doyle author of Sherlock Homes), George (Edalji, son of a Parsee Indian married to an Englishwoman who was accused of mutilating horses in 1903) or perhaps more importantly those who are interested in the wider family and implications of the case. :read: :thumbsup:
