im looking to rent a property in the Camden area of London and wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions of a decent agent in the area.

There's a company that I've had dealt with: Hot Black Desiato: www.hotblackdesiato.co.uk they were really decent and sorted us out with a place in Islington - they cover the Camden area as well though.
